Chery Thailand has invited media and partners to the Chery Q Official Launch in Thailand, the official local debut of Chery Q 2026. The new 100% electric city car will be introduced under the SO QUTE, SO YOU concept, with official Thai pricing and launch offers scheduled for June 24, 2026.

The launch will also highlight the model’s design direction after its Red Dot Winner 2026 recognition, along with hands-on access to its technology and everyday-use features.

Expected Thai-market Chery Q 2026 specifications

The Thai lineup is expected to include three main variants: Chery Q QLICK, Chery Q QOOL, and Chery Q QUINT. The model uses a compact five-door hatchback body for city driving and stands out with rear-wheel drive, a rare configuration for an EV in this price range.

The electric motor is expected to produce 122 horsepower and 115 Nm of torque, with top speed limited to 135 km/h. The 42.7 kWh LFP battery is expected to deliver around 400 km per full charge on NEDC or up to 420 km on CLTC.

Charging support is expected to include AC charging at up to 6.6 kW and DC fast charging at up to 85 kW. In China, the electrical architecture supports a 30-80% charging time of around 16.5 minutes. For Thailand, Chery is also expected to promote an 8-year or 200,000 km vehicle warranty, an 8-year or 160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, and five years of free 24-hour roadside assistance.

Expected Chery Q 2026 price in Thailand

For the QLICK, QOOL, and QUINT variants, early expected pricing is in the 400,000-550,000 baht range. Official pricing will be announced on June 24, 2026.

Bangkok Motorhaus Perspective

The June 24 launch is an important move for Chery Thailand because Chery Q enters one of the most active price zones in the Thai EV market. It will be watched against compact EV rivals such as Geely EX2 and entry-level models that overlap with BYD Dolphin territory.

Its Red Dot Winner 2026 design story, compact city packaging, estimated 400 km-class driving range, and expected 400,000-550,000 baht price range could appeal strongly to young professionals, students, first-car buyers, and households looking for a second city EV.

The key challenge is aftersales trust. Thai buyers in 2026 are looking beyond showroom price. Parts availability, dealer readiness, technician skill, software stability, and resale value will decide whether Chery Q becomes a serious Urban EV contender in the second half of the year.
