The activity highlights transparency across production, quality inspection and delivery readiness as JAECOO 5 EV moves into local assembly at OMODA & JAECOO Manufacturing (Thailand) in Rayong.
JAECOO 5 EV 2026 price and warranty package
The Thai-assembled JAECOO 5 EV MAX+ 50.6 kWh is officially priced at 579,000 baht, down 60,000 baht from the first imported batch price.
The vehicle carries an 8-year or 200,000 km vehicle warranty. Its key ownership offer is Lifetime Warranty coverage for the drive motor and high-voltage battery, supported by 36 body and paint service centers across Thailand.
Dimensions and exterior design
JAECOO 5 EV 2026 measures 4,380 mm long, 1,860 mm wide and 1,650 mm tall, with a 2,620 mm wheelbase and 174 mm of ground clearance. The SUV combines a premium sporty look with adventure-oriented details, including a 20-degree approach angle and a 30-degree departure angle.
Exterior features include a Waterfall grille, intelligent LED headlights, Silent Glass for the windshield, 18-inch alloy wheels, 480 liters of rear cargo space, up to 1,180 liters with the rear seats folded, and a 35-liter front trunk.
Cabin and Pet-Ready Design features
The cabin focuses on space, with 1,492 mm of rear-seat width, a 1.45-square-meter panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch digital instrument display and a 12.3-inch center touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Equipment includes a multifunction steering wheel, column shifter, SONY audio with eight speakers, a 50-watt wireless charger, ambient lighting, power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, Pet Mode and scratch-resistant cabin materials for pet owners.
Electric powertrain, battery and charging
The front-wheel-drive electric powertrain uses a single motor producing 211 hp and 288 Nm of torque. The 0-100 km/h time is listed at 7.7 seconds, with a top speed of 175 km/h.
The 50.6 kWh LFP battery delivers up to 401 km of NEDC range. Charging support includes 6.6 kW AC charging and 130 kW DC fast charging, with a 30-80% charge taking 27 minutes. Vehicle-to-load external power output is also included.
Safety and delivery readiness
Safety equipment includes 19 ADAS driver-assistance functions, a 540-degree around-view camera with transparent underbody view, and a full set of airbags to meet international safety expectations.
