CHERY is building fresh momentum in the new-energy vehicle market with Chery Q 2026, a compact EV that has quickly drawn strong attention from buyers in China and overseas markets.
The model recorded more than 50,000 bookings in China within the first day of its official launch. In Thailand, early interest is also building, with nearly 3,000 pre-booking rights collected from recent motor-show activity before the official local price announcement.

Chery Q 2026 pricing and launch offers
For Thailand, Chery Q 2026 is still moving toward its official price announcement. The introductory pre-order campaign includes a 20,000-baht special discount for customers who receive booking rights in the first campaign round.
The main offer is a Lifetime Warranty package covering the high-voltage traction battery, electric drive motor and motor control unit, or MCU. The campaign is designed to reduce long-term ownership concerns for EV buyers.
Chery is also preparing the Chery Happiness On Tour roadshow, giving Thai customers a chance to see the vehicle in person across the country before the official launch stage.

Red Dot Award and Chery Q 2026 design identity
Chery Q 2026 was developed around the Square-Circle design concept. It combines geometric, box-like forms that suggest strength with rounded details that make the vehicle feel modern and approachable for city use.
This design direction helped Chery Q 2026 win recognition at the 2026 German Red Dot Product Design Award. The model is positioned as a new digital-era design benchmark for creativity, cabin functionality, space packaging and product quality.

Basic specifications and technical structure
Chery Q 2026 is built on Chery’s latest new-energy vehicle platform and supports a fully electric powertrain. The compact body focuses on city agility while using the Square-Circle concept to create more usable cabin space than its footprint may suggest.
The cabin is expected to use a large touchscreen infotainment display for intelligent vehicle controls, while the electric architecture is focused on energy efficiency and fast charging for younger urban drivers.
Chery’s global engineering and R&D network includes more than 25,000 technology staff and research centers in markets such as China, Germany, the United States and Brazil. That scale allows the company to tune products for more than 120 international markets.

Bangkok Motorhaus Perspective
A first-day booking figure of more than 50,000 units in China is not accidental. Chery is using a clear design and marketing strategy by moving away from the familiar rounded EV formula and leaning into a Square-Circle look that feels more distinctive and more useful in terms of headroom and cabin openness.
The 2026 Red Dot Product Design Award gives Chery Q 2026 a strong showroom story for international markets, including Thailand, where nearly 3,000 pre-booking rights have already been collected before official pricing has been announced.
The Lifetime Warranty campaign is just as important. Battery cost and long-term electric-drive durability remain major EV concerns for Thai buyers, so warranty coverage for the battery, motor and control unit directly addresses a key ownership pain point. If Chery pairs this with sharp official pricing and a ready service network, Chery Q 2026 could become a major compact EV contender in Thailand.
