Isuzu Group in Thailand, led by Hiroyasu Sato, Managing Director of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co., Ltd., and Hidehiko Shimomura, Deputy Managing Director of Isuzu Motors Co., (Thailand) Ltd., has continued its commitment to youth development by presenting 500,000 baht and team uniforms to Thailand U12 youth baseball team.
The support helps the young athletes prepare for the 2026 Little League Baseball Asia-Pacific & Middle East Regional Tournament in South Korea from June 26 to July 4, 2026. Chaiwat Chaiwanjinda, Secretary-General of the Baseball Association of Thailand, received the support at the Queen Sirikit 60th Anniversary Stadium in Pathum Thani.

19 years of supporting Thai youth baseball
The 2026 program marks the 19th year of Isuzu Group support for Thai youth baseball. Hiroyasu Sato said baseball is a highly popular team sport in Japan and can help young players develop physical skill, discipline, unity, teamwork and analytical planning.
The main goal is to give Thai youth athletes the chance to show their potential internationally, gain real regional tournament experience and bring pride to Thailand through cooperation between the private sector and the Baseball Association of Thailand.

Thailand U12 goals before South Korea
Head coach Isao Aoyama said the international tournament will be challenging against strong regional teams, but the children are ready to fight with full effort. The team aims to improve on last year result after finishing third in the regional competition.
Youth representatives Akkharawit Payarit and Wutthisak Simaroeng said reaching this point required hard training in the morning and evening alongside school responsibilities. The team wants to perform at its best, move closer to the United States stage and build Thailand reputation internationally.

Training and practice-game atmosphere
The field images show intensive preparation, from warm-up and coaching instructions to batting, pitching, movement drills and practice-game situations that help the young players prepare for real tournament pressure.

Bangkok Motorhaus Perspective
From a brand-image perspective, Isuzu long-running support for Thai youth baseball is a meaningful strategy. Baseball is closely tied to Japanese sporting culture, and its values of discipline, teamwork and planning connect naturally with Isuzu identity.
Bringing those values into Thai youth development creates shared value between the company and society. It is stronger than a short-term public-relations activity because the public can see consistency, intention and real impact as young athletes compete internationally.
The most interesting point is consistency. It also aligns with the public image of Isuzu products such as the D-Max and MU-X, which Thai consumers associate with durability, endurance and long-term reliability. Supporting a niche sport and helping the U12 team build regional results adds depth to the brand story.
In the long run, this kind of activity can build family-level brand loyalty. Isuzu is not appearing only as a vehicle seller, but as a supporter of opportunity for Thai children to grow through real competition.
