CHANGAN Auto Sales Thailand has announced a major early success for the CHANGAN NEVO Q05 2026, with the intelligent electric SUV exceeding 2,200 bookings within just seven days of its official launch.
The company has also started first-batch deliveries through the NEVO Q05 Remarkable Journey campaign, welcoming early customers into the CHANGAN family. Senior executives including Ricky Wu, Vice President and Customer Officer of CHANGAN Auto Southeast Asia, and Chris Wu, Vice President of CHANGAN Auto Sales Thailand, joined the customer event.

2,200 bookings and a Rayong plant built for the long game
The NEVO Q05 booking result is CHANGAN second key milestone in June 2026, following the first anniversary of the Rayong plant and cumulative production of 20,000 vehicles.
The Rayong facility serves as a core production base for Southeast Asia, assembling DEEPAL S05 and CHANGAN NEVO Q05 2026 for Thailand, ASEAN markets and right-hand-drive export destinations.

CHANGAN NEVO Q05 2026 key specifications
CHANGAN NEVO Q05 2026 is positioned as a new-generation intelligent SUV under the smart-drive, easy-life concept, aimed at users who want practicality, value and accessible technology. The cabin is designed for comfort, while luggage capacity expands to 1,380 liters with the rear seats folded.
The EV powertrain offers up to 426 km of driving range per charge according to Thai campaign information. A key highlight is 3C DC fast charging, which can charge from 30% to 80% in about 15 minutes.
Inside, the model features a 14.6-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, together with ADAS driver-assistance technology for daily driving confidence.

First deliveries and service network expansion
CHANGAN says more than 55 showrooms and service centers are already operating across Thailand, with 10 more locations planned to support the expanding customer base as NEVO Q05 first deliveries move nationwide.

Bangkok Motorhaus Perspective
More than 2,200 bookings in the first week shows CHANGAN is positioning NEVO Q05 effectively in Thailand SUV market. The brand is using value and smart technology at an accessible price to challenge both legacy combustion and hybrid SUVs as well as newer EV rivals.
Running a first-delivery event quickly under the Remarkable Journey campaign is a good move because it directly addresses customer anxiety around waiting times. The images of a large vehicle yard ready for delivery make the readiness message feel more concrete than a booking-number announcement alone.
Technically, the 3C DC fast-charging capability is the key talking point, with a 30% to 80% charge time of around 15 minutes. Local Rayong production also strengthens CHANGAN position on cost, logistics and spare-parts planning compared with fully imported vehicles.
The next challenge is brand clarity. NEVO must build its own identity and avoid overlapping too closely with DEEPAL, since both brands share technology, infrastructure and service support. Expanding the service network quickly will also be crucial as road population rises.
If CHANGAN can maintain real delivery speed, parts readiness and after-sales quality, NEVO Q05 could move beyond a strong launch and become a serious player in Thailand 2026 electric SUV market.
