SAIC Maxus has introduced the eTerron 9 2026, a 100% electric medium-to-large pickup developed on the dedicated Interstellar GST EV platform for global markets. In Thailand, Maxus Thailand under ASAP is preparing to launch and deliver the model in the second half of the year.

The announced price is around 1.6x million baht, with a special pre-book price of 1,590,000 baht.
Key Specifications
The eTerron 9 uses dual electric motors with all-wheel drive, producing 442 horsepower or 325 kW and 700 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. A 102.2 kWh LFP battery supports up to 430 km of WLTP driving range.
DC fast charging is rated at up to 115 kW, charging from 20% to 80% in about 40 minutes. The truck also supports V2L output at 2.2 kW inside the vehicle and up to 6.6 kW externally.
Highlights include adaptive air suspension, multi-link rear suspension, six drive modes, 620 kg payload, 3,500 kg towing capacity, premium 5-seat cabin, dual 12.3-inch displays, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, ADAS and a 360-degree camera.
Bangkok Motorhaus Take
The most interesting part of this launch is the new Maxus Thailand setup under ASAP. At around 1.6x million baht, and 1,590,000 baht during pre-booking, eTerron 9 targets premium pickup and business SUV buyers who want EV performance, a larger body, air suspension and strong utility features. The key challenge will be building confidence in real-world range, dealer coverage, service readiness and parts support in Thailand.
